Bnai Zion Expands Outreach in Florida
To expand familiarity with our organization, increase fundraising and establish a southeast region board, a new director has been engaged in Florida. Rabbi Rikki Arad will take on this important role and she will reach out to individuals in many Florida communities to further these goals. Obtaining new donors and cultivating them to become active supporters and serve on a local board will be a priority.
There is a sizeable, affluent Jewish population in Florida, from young professionals beginning their careers to active seniors, with many individuals in between. Heightening awareness of our organization among various sectors of Florida society – not only within the Jewish community, but wherever support for Israel can be found – is essential.
If you’re interested in helping Bnai Zion and perhaps would like to serve on a Florida planning committee, please contact Rikki.

Dr. Calderon made a compelling presentation about diabetic limb salvage and many fields of medicine were represented by the participants from Aventura Hospital, which awarded nurses and doctors continuing medical education credit for attending.
