Dinner Held November 15, 2007 to Benefit Ma’aleh Adumim
Benni Kashriel, the mayor of Ma’aleh Adumim, was the guest speaker at a dinner in honor of the Honorable William C. Thompson, Sr., who was the recipient of the Bnai Zion Tikkum Olam Award for Tradition of Excellence in Community Building, and Mr. Leon Eastmond, who was the recipient of the Bnai Zion Humanitarian Award for Diversity in the Workplace. Guests enjoyed the very thoughtful comments of the two honorees and funds raised were earmarked for Ma’aleh Adumim.

Panel Discussion entitled Terror:How Israel Has Coped and What America Can Learn Held on September 25, 2007
The New York Region hosted this event at the Bnai Zion Headquarters. Featuring guest speakers Leonard Cole, author of Terror: How Israel Has Coped and What America Can Learn, Devorah Halberstam, whose son Ari was murdered in New York 1994 in a terrorist attack on the Brooklyn Bridge and David Raab, CEO OF Raab & Company, the event drew a sizeable crowd interested in hearing these three distinguished individuals.
