The national headquarters of the Bnai Zion Foundation is located in midtown Manhattan at 136 East 39th Street and plays an important role in raising funds and sponsoring a variety of programs for Bnai Zion members and the general public. The auditorium is used for many kinds of events featuring dignitaries, high-profile speakers and entertainment. Distinguished guests have included Prime Ministers of Israel, many members of the Knesset, American government officials, members of the Israeli and American press corps, the governor of New York, Senator Charles Schumer, and other individuals in the spotlight.
The Sy Weinstein Gallery is located on the main level. On display are unique black and white photos depicting civilian and wartime moments taken by Sy as an official Air Force military photographer during World War II.
Bnai Zion publishes a quarterly magazine called The Voice that is mailed to our membership. You can also access this publication by clicking here or on BZ Voice on the top menu. We also send an email called The Daily Alert with the latest news from Israel and the worldwide Jewish community.
At our building, the America-Israel Friendship House, we host cultural and educational gatherings. We have completed our 100th Anniversary Mission to Israel (June 23 to July 3, 2008) that included visits to Bnai Zion projects and meetings with top-tier Israeli government and military officials.
