Bnai Zion partnered with Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy to present a performance by Vertigo, the sensational Israeli dance company.
The event - held on Sunday, October 23 at the Hebrew Academy - was sold out and was a venue to promote the work of Bnai Zion and raise awareness of our organization within the Philadelphia Jewish community.

November 2011
Our new Mid-Atlantic region is in full swing.
David Gitlin, a partner at Blank Rome LLP, who received the Distinguished Humanitarian Award from Bnai Zion at a cocktail reception at the Kimmel Center on November 1, 2010 is serving as the Mid-Atlantic regional chairman of the board. He commented, “I am impressed with the work Bnai Zion is doing in Israel, particularly at the Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa, an outstanding urban hospital catering to the northern population. The hospital is urgently in need of funds to build a new protected emergency room, and I am hopeful that our new region will be able to contribute generously to this important project.”
Edward Caine, CPA/CFF, the managing partner of Edward P. Caine CPA, LLC with offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, is serving as vice-chair. He commented, “Bnai Zion’s desire to work for the advancement of the physical, mental and social wellbeing of all Israeli citizens is important for all of us. The work at Bnai Zion Medical Center is just one example of how we are helping to further our mission.”
Our immediate goal is two-fold: to promote Bnai Zion and familiarize the local community with the organization, and build a strong cadre of local supporters who will form its board.
We just co-sponsored a performance of the renowned Israeli dance company, Vertigo, with
Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, and many more events are planned; please click here for more details. Photos from this event will be coming soon to our Mid-Atlantic Region Photo Gallery.
