About the Ma’ale Adumim Youth Symphony:
The Ma’ale Adumim Youth Symphony, part of The George W. Schaeffer Music Conservatory in Ma’ale Adumim, is composed of musicians who are handpicked from school music programs and invited to continue their musical education, and are taught by the some of the country’s leading artists. They are one of the leading youth symphonies in the State of Israel. Established merely four years ago, it has already won national recognition and is beginning to gain some international reputation as well. It won its first international award at the Bratislava International Competition for Youth Symphonies.

The conservatory is just one of many projects Bnai Zion has completed to support the community of Ma’ale Adumim. Notable projects include a cultural center, the Library of Peace, and a community center for children with learning disabilities. Our current project is to expand the area’s only senior center, the Yuvalim Center, to support a growing population.

About Ramaz:
Located in the heart of New York City, Ramaz is a Modern Orthodox Day School with a rich history of Jewish education, academic distinction, and nurturing of individual abilities and aspirations. Students devote many hours to high level academics, and they also strive to reach their creative potential, often with breathtaking results. The Ramaz Upper School Choir has taken part in a national choral competition in Virginia Beach and has brought its music to communities in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and this year to Israel. The Chamber Choir has performed at the White House, Lincoln Center, the International Arts Expo, the North American Jewish Choral Festival, and on CBS.  Ramaz’ adult/community chorus, Kol Ram, includes members of both the Ramaz and wider Jewish communities. Their repertoire features an eclectic mix of languages and musical styles.
